Best Practices As licensed school counselors, we are faced with a number of challenges each day and need the support and expertise of others to help us get through these challenges. At Saint Paul Public Schools, school counselors utilize a number of individual school counseling programs and resources every day to help their students. Through the Elementary School Counseling Project, Counselors not only put into practice guidance programs and services, but were able to track and indicate the importance of school counseling services in their school.
