Suicide/Depression Information
If you feel suicidal or believe someone you know is thinking about hurting themself, please TELL SOMEONE! There is help.

Resources below are available for students, staff, and parents.

For an immediate threat of suicide is RIGHT NOW, call 9-1-1 and tell them the situation.
Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE)
Mission is to prevent suicide through public awareness and education. Reduce stigma and serve as a resource for people touched by suicide. Includes information on both suicide and depression.

National Institute of Mental Health
Signs, symptoms, treatment, getting help, medications. information about depression in men, depression in women, and depression in other adults.

Suicide Prevention Resource Center
Information on suicide, other mental health issues, resources, and state specific information.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance
Information for people in crisis. Also, symptoms, diagnosis, recovery steps and helping a loved one.

Yellow Ribbon Suicide Prevention Program
Community-based suicide prevention program focusing on: awareness, collaboration, education, postvention and prevention.
